1st gen efi line info.

maybe someone could use this info. So here it is. When i was at the junkyard the other day I got a much needed efi line for my 4runner. There r some differences in the lines i noticed. I notice that 1 4runner that was a first generation body style had a in line filter on the frame. Where as the one I used went straight to the engine almost except ended into a fuel filter attached to the block. I believe the one with the filter on the frame was a automatic as i noticed a tranny cooler there. i got my line off a 86 and it was identical to the 87 fuel line i had except not rotted out...lol.

Was prob a first gen V6 (88-89). Your 22RE filter is above the starter as you said.

Yeah, they didn't do us a favor with that location on the back of the block, did they? It is the most impossible to service maintenance item I have ever seen.
