1999 Tacoma Headlight Swap

Potentially dumb question, but right now I don't have access to my truck or any manuals. I've been in a researching circle for hours and hours on swapping out my headlights (bulbs, housing, harness, it's all in play). I've come across pretty much every option there is, and I think I have decided on the Truck-Lite 5"x7" option. HOWEVER, after thinking about the shape of my headlights, I realized they are not rectangular. So onto my questions: Will standard 5"x7" housings work for my 1999 Taco? Or am I going to need to go with a custom fit housing?

None of the suppliers of these lights are very helpful with the types of vehicles their parts will work for, but I'm fearful I will need a custom housing and these standard kits won't work for me. Thanks for the help.

pretty sure you will need the grill, headlight surrounds and headlight buckets from a 95.5 -97 tacoma
You will probably find that the core support on your 99 does not have the correct holes to mount the headlight buckets and you will need to drill for that.

Thanks so much for the quick response. I was afraid that was going to be my answer. Well, in a way it's a good thing because I'll probably just stick with my OEM setup and save a few hundred bucks that I didn't NEED to spend. Not all bad, in the end!
