1999 3RZ-FE 2.7 L 4runner: why no fuel filter?
Why doesn't my 1999 3RZ-FE 2.7 L 4runner have a fuel filter? I easily located the fuel filter in my 1999 5VZ-FE 3.4 L 4runner, so unless I'm just totally missing something, the 2.7 L doesn't have one. What's up with that?

its mounted under the intake manifold...and its a PITA to get to.

It's not that hard to get to. Seriously.
It took me maybe 45 mins to change the fuel filter on my truck. Pull the front drivers side tire and reach in the wheel well..
