1997 Tacoma 2.7 Engine Temp?

I just got my 1997 Tacoma 2.7 4WD 5 Spd. manual, and I had a question about the normal engine temp. I have noticed that the needle stays below halfway between hot and cold, I have the cheaper cluster setup without the actual temp reading, but I was wondering where everyone elses usually sits. It may be normal for these to run cool, or I could have a sticking T-stat or some other issue, but I would appreciate the feedback so I know where I stand, Thanks!

In all honesty it sounds about right.
Mine sat there before I got an aftermarket radiator, now it sits just at the halfway mark
