17X9 or 17X8 rims???

After researching and getting feedback i will be mounting 285/70/17's on my 96 limited with a 3" lift. I am buying the Helo Maxx 6 Chrome rims...the question I don't know is what size 17" rim know to mount, i will be putting BFG MT's on the rim...thanks for all your help!

Good Choice!! I have the 9 inch with a ~2 inch OME lift and 275/70/17 (approx 32's) no rubbing at all. After my MTR's wear out i will be doing a 2 inch body lift and getting 285's.

nice picture, i have been looking for one with the helo's on a 4runner, it just confirms how much i though they would look sweet! decision made 17x9's !
