15" rims fitting?

I know this question has been answered before, but i cant find it searching.

My 4Runner came stock with the 16" rims, (1996), am I able to stick 15" rims on there with no problems?

Don`t think so. You will have a larger caliper in there and those rims will not fit over them.

That sucks... 15" rims and tires are soooo much cheaper.

Yep and they run wider. You can go with a 16 in anything larger than 10 inches wide. thats the biggest ive seen. But 15s go up to 15 x 16. My 16x10 welds are like $375 a piece. but 15 ub that spec have been seen as cheap as $270
