AdamF's writeup was more than suffencient to do my 2''BL. Thats all I used. Just dont wind the steering wheel after you free it up. It needs to stay in the same position when you free it as when you link it back up. I turned mine one full rotation somehow and couldnt turn left as a result. Good luck...you've got my number

Those are his daily drivers. The 4Runner is the beast that terrorizes the trails. Jeeps run in fear from it!

only thing I am worried about is the steering shaft extension. that part seems tricky.
I think you should also loosen that first so you don't load it up with the lift and then try to undo the bolts afterwards and "snap." would scare the buhjesus out of me! I don't think it would break anything but it might be sort of dangerous.

I'm glad we've had sooo much fun on this thread, but can we bring it back to the topic at hand, please?

I wonder how high a wedgee Chris would need to give him a 1" Fruit of the Loom Body Lift?

Website

Chris,

I was a bit confused or maybe I just looked in the wrong place, but my eyes did not immediately go up to the top of the lift page to see that you had two options, body lift and suspension lift. I at first thought that the lift page that first came up was all there was. It was only when I went back that I realized I needed to click on body lift to see the write-up. I don't know how you might fix that or if it was just me, but I guess I was expecting the body lift and suspension lift options to be on the left like the rest of the options. Just an observation. The write-up was good once I found it and only had a few typos for you to fix.

I'm a PK and have a very tough skin and I don't waste my time getting mad at folks because what good does that do me, just wastes my time, so don't worry, I ain't mad at all, but you tell me to get the hell off, I'm going to get the hell off.

Last guy me and some buddies gave a wedgee to had on some obviously old underwear because that waistband ripped right out!!! Man was it funny! He didn't think it was too funny!

I'll check for the typos and see what I can come up with for the navigation of the site. Thanks for the updates!

Chris

P.S. What's a PK?

Hey Brian,

If you get a chance check out my site again for the lift page and body lift page, and let me know if that's easier to navigate.

I guess that was where my brain was expecting it to be, but I would leave the ones at the top too, so folks who actually have a brain will have a place to find it too. Looks good so far!

Yeah, I'm used to it on the left too, but I wanted something a tad different. But I'll keep them both for now.

I have a TJM-15 w/ a R.B. 1" lift. 1" is about as far as you can go with the TJM brackets. Any highter and you will have to live with the gap or make new mounst. I had to elongate the holes in the bumper itself and then cut a grove at the botton of each side of the bumper to clear the bumper mounts. If you look in Keisur's pic, you will see how the bumper frame mounts have an angle to them(bottom of bumper). that is what you will have to make clearance for. RB's brackets are for the stock bumper only. Mine are sitting in the garage collecting dust!

Ahh I see. So there is a lot more work. Do you have any pics of your setup? (what had to be elongated or modified). Anyways, does anyone have any ideas to make a new bumper mounts to fit our TJM's existing bracket. Maybe just Maybe, RB will be willing to make new mounts specified for our TJM bumper.
