1 Body lift, stock suspension
Looking for pics of 4Runners with 265 75 16s with a 1 body lift. I have a 96 with stock suspension. I have a 1 lift from Roger Brown and would like to run the larger tire without making it look too crowded in the wheel well.
May do a suspension lift at some point but its primarily my commuter with the occasional weekend trip down moderate trails. So far, the stock suspension has served me very well and I kind of hate to mess up a good thing.
Love to see how this set up will/would look. Thanks to all you guys out there and for the posts you create. Wealth of knowledge on here.

Just an fyi- you may get some frame rub at full lock and you may have to trim the bumper valance a little as well. Neither were a big deal for my husband's 99 with Michelin 265/75r16. The wheels are 16x7, not sure what the backspacing is. It does not have a BL in this pic but does have the taller stock springs so you may get an idea of what you'd see. The valance has been trimmed- it used to be fairly vertical- with a utility knife and a steady hand.
My lifted (suspension plus 1" body) 96 is still my daily driver....like you I drove it stock (265/70r16 though) and upgraded when I needed new suspension.

Thanks Habanero and super nice rigs. I guess my thought process was; the 75 series is one inch taller than the 70 series. That’s an extra 1/2” inside and around the wheel well. With a 1” body lift, it would seem that overall I’d gain 1/2 clearance from where I’m at at stock. So, if I like the stance now, it seems I’d like it 1/2” better with a lift and larger tire.
I hear what you are saying about possibly having to trim the valance.

Do you all have any experience with this trail gear bumper? 4Wheel parts says it will fit my 96, but the description is only up to 1995. Anyone have this bumper? Does it fit with mods? Also, has anyone relocated their receiver? Put a 1” bodylift on but I’m not really into the gap. Either I have to relocate it or get a new bumper set up for a 1” lift.
Thanks.
