03 TundrA limited 4x4 ??

I am looking at a 2003 used 4x4 Tundra Limited. It has only 5500 miles on it. They are asking $26000,00. It is a nice truck and I can't find anything wrong with it. The only thing I noticed are the rotors are warped and it has a trailer brake installed under the dash.I do like this truck.

I have has a 93 SR5 V6 4x4 Extra cab since it was new. I love my truck but it has 156,000 miles on it now. I have never had any problems other than the headgasket recall. You could eat off the engine and the floor as I keep the truck very clean. I have a freind who will by it for $8000.00.

My question is do you think the Tundra is of the same quality as the 93?
Is it time to update to a new rig? Is $8000.00 a good price for my truck?
What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I've never owned a Tundra but know several people who do. They love them. The only reason I don't want one is its full size, but a very nice truck. As far as quality between the 93 and 03 I couldn't tell you. I know my 93 was of better quality than my 95 Tacoma. The frame, for example, was fully boxed on the 93 and not the Tacoma. Don't know about this on the Tundra. This is probably irrelevant because any Toyota truck is going to be better than any other make. If you can get 8000 for yours, I would sell it and buy the Tundra-if you like it better. Very clean 93 BTW.

Hey there Paul. Long time no hear
Can't beleive you want to give up your truck. If i had the $$$ i would take it from ya.

If the Tundra your looking at falls through let me know. My next door neighbor is selling his 2003 Tundra.

2003 Tundra

This truck is so nice looking.
I bet his water bill at home runs him $500 a month due to him cleaning his rigs almost every day
I can take a better picture if your interested.

Good to hear from ya.

My neighbor just picked up this...

This fall he is heading over to Sweden to pick up a Volvo for his wife.
He wants to go to a car instead of a truck.

Like what was said above, if you can get $8k for your truck then go for it.

I like the Tundra's and in a couple of years, I will be buying my wife a Tundra DC.
