Has anybody had any luck finding an expedition-style roof rack for a '03 4Runner. Hannibal makes great ones for Land Cruisers but none for 4Runners. Garvin's Wilderness Rack (Sport Series) would work too but they are not making them for the '03 4Runner. I want something a little more heavy-duty then the Thule and Yakima brands. Any suggestions?

 

if you want some beefy expedition style roof racks, it's recommended that you don't use the stock railings. Since the stock railings has a weak load rating.

You should be able to use a garvin since those are generic sizes. Just find the size you want

As for bolting it on, I guess you'll have to use the stock rails unless you build your own from the roof.
