Looks good. I like that you took the time to do it right.

Just read through this build, badass work man! Learned a lot about the engine work especially. Is it smog legal though? And what about MPGs?

Oh and why cut and rotate the knuckle balls?

Yo man thanks! Smog legal now? No. Before with the stock ECU it might/should have been able to pass a BAR inspection. The only question here would have been the Y pipe that I made. from my research, because the stock truck had it exit on the pass side, it would have to stay this way to pass the BAR inspection. Anyway, now with mega squirt and the Subaru injectors, its definitely NOT smog legal. where I live in California, we only have to smog when you transfer ownership of vehicles. The MPG is heavily dependent on how I drive it and the tires. with the stock 3.4 and some 30" tires towing a jet ski on the freeway, I've seen 20mpg. With the 37's before the supercharger, I used to average 13 MPG around town. With the supercharger, 37's and 5.29s, I still get 13 if i drive normally. however, at the coos bay dunes, my foot never left the floor and I burned up a 16 gal tank in 69 miles. it gets way better smiles per gallon than miles per gallon.

by rotating the axle housing to fix the pinion angle, the front caster angle is changed from a positive (good alignment, good behavior) angle to a negative (terrible handling). rotating the knuckle balls backwards puts them back in a positive caster angle.
