Ya, took me a minute or two for photobucket but I got it figured out. The trucks look good. The JB Weld dried and I put the tube in today. Thanks again Ian. You da man!

What are your plans for this build? Just a good daily driver?

Hey Swimmer- Great question. I wanted to keep it stock for the most part but also would like to make it ride better. It's purely a daily driver. Any suggestions?

Oh ya,... I looked up the shifter knob link you had in a thread from October,... I think that dude is out of business. No replies from him or his site. That one TEQ knob was sweet. Irab told me about it,... be nice to grab one but pricey and 'if' you can get it!

If you want a better ride i'd suggest installing a set of bj spacers to lift the front end then relax the torsion bars to make your suspension more forgiving thus giving you a smoother ride.

And too bad that guy is out of business that TEQ knob was sweet i'm gonna see if i can't find another one like it.

I probably will not be doing the lamp mod anytime soon as I have another set of the Silverstars in the shed!,... I like them.

Another view.

for teasing us with non-existent photos. haha J/K.

That intake looks pretty darn good.

Here you go,... Irab's rig with the HID mod is on the left, my rig with the sealed bulb, Sylvania Silverstars on the right.

The H6054ST (x2) fit the older yotas and qualify for a rebate as well!

the autopal's are less than $30 a set. about $40 shipped. ebay link

fyi, i don't have hid conversions, just the autopal's. they came with 55/60 watt h4 bulbs. if i wanted to add hid, i could easily plug and play

Ok, I stand corrected on that. Irab does have some more variability for sure. Thanks for the link! Good to know.

Shameless pic of the 93 Yo's together after we did the mod.

That's Irab holding the tube for proper fit.

It fit really snug and wasn't going anywhere. The hardest part was waiting for the JB Weld to dry over night. The '82 Supra AFM was plug and play. I was surprised at how much air was being sucked in and the sound of the air flow into the filter.

More pics to come and THANKS AGAIN IAN for everything!
now these are gone? You aren't moving them within photobucket after posting them are you?

Where did my pics go?
Once in photobucket they stay in photobucket right?,... if I delete the pics from photobucket, then they are gone right?

yes if you delete them from photo buck they will not show up here as well if you move them too different folders after posting here, the links to them chance and they won't show up either.
