It drives really good. I'm glad I spent the extra money and went with the Bil 5150's over the 5100's. It has some body roll but hell it's on 37's. Overall I'm surprised how well it drives.

Very nice, damnpretty work!! Now that my junk runs y'all are gonna force me to do sumptin to it. Being the cheapskate I am I found a nice boot out of a nissanmazdaroverisuzu at the upulit and made it look good. Bet some gorrila glue would hold it to the bottom of the console.

No Dave is old school. He doesn't do much on the web. I'd call him. I know he built a bumper for Andyota in New Mexico. My rig is back in his shop right now for some more goodies.. stand by for pics.

Joey your Runner has come a long way. Looking great. I am waiting to pickup my modified rear bumper that has a tire carrier to hold a 37" MTR/60" hi-lift/20L NATO fuel can. I need to get some 5.29's so that I can put my 37's on and be able to turn them. Not sure when I willl get around to the dual case install and engine rebuild though as I volunteered (again) to go back to Iraq in a couple months. Hopefully when I get back I can finish it.

Thought I'd give an update on my rig. Since the build I pulled the rack off the top. I was tired of it getting hung up in the brush and the added weight on top was noticeable. The only major upgrades I've done since the build is a 2wd oil pan swap and Hydro Assist.

The parts pile after 2 hours of cleaning

Getting the old pan off is no easy task. That FIPG crap Toyota uses is some serious stuff. I only had to remove the two brackets that brace the Trans to the Block to expose all the pan bolts.

The view once you get the pan off

Now the more fun part trying to get the baffle tray loose. This was also a huge PIA. Once I got it off along with the pickup it was time to clean up the block to start installing new parts. Here's the two pickups side by side.

And the two pans side by side. Notice how much lower the profile on the front of the 2wd pan is.

Make sure to clean everything really well and don't overtighten the pan bolts. Torque them to 52 INCH pounds.

The finished product... the dipstick is the same and the pan holds exactly the same amount of oil so that part was easy. The pick up and baffle plate are also a direct bolt up.

Now that I had clearance it was time to install my ram. I wont' get into the too much detail because that's a whole another project but here's the finished product.

The steering box with TG's frame plate kit and the lower high pressure line.

One more shot of the Ram

Some pics from some recent runs

And my latest Toy a 16 foot Carson. I added brakes to the other axle and it pulls pretty decent behind my Taco. I could use some more power of course but with the 6 speed and my engine mods it does okay.

I don't think so Chad. That was a guy out of Cameron Park that we just happened upon on the trail.
