Found a set of blue door panels on ebay so I snagged those. Other than a center console, the interior is done.

Finished product, and back on all 4s after the brakes and wheels bearings. Also patched a small rust hole in the driver's floorboard.

Interior 90% done. Ordered a tuffy center console and some floor mats, then just need to make some speaker boxes and inside is done.

On another note, we've decided to paint the truck ourselves. Does anyone have recommendations on which spray gun I should buy?

When wiring the headlights we noticed most of the wiring needed attention. We tore apart the dash to get to all of it and noticed almost all of the wires are simply twisted together and not even wrapped in electrical tape. Speaker wires going to tail lights, turn signals going to head lights etc. So we are redoing the entire harness...stay tuned.

Trucks looking good!, the wiring definitely isn't the most fun especially on one that's 30+ years old

its getting there. I've had to reverse literally everything the previous owner did. Oh well, she should be good for another 200k when she's done

Starting on the paint. Also ordered some floor mats, rear drums, and a dash cover.

Anyone near Western nc wanna make some cash by making me a new flatbed? I don't have the tools or skills to do it.

So, the paint isn't holding for some reason. Comes off basically when you look at it, so I'll just be taking it to a shop. Got the tuffy console installed and speaker boxes made. Interior is done for the time being. Next step is designing a flatbed, which I need some input on. I got a trailgear rear bumper for free that I would like to be the starting point. Frame has been bobbed, so the bumper can't fit inside the frame rails. I'm thinking of extending the corners into fenders, adding an inner fender like stock, and creating a cab rail with tubing going to the rear. Not really looking for much roll protection since I won't be wheeling that hard, more for looks. I've done a lot of research on what I like, and I'm going for a less aggressive version of the trailgear kit. Any ideas/advice/input?

Im sorry to hear about the paint coming off. You've done a great job on the interior and maintenance. Keep up the good work

Updates are fun. Ordered myself an xofab flatbed and plate kit and gonna attempt to weld it myself. Also got the tuffy console installed and interior basically done. I'd like to get a back panel trim and probably grey door panels instead, but I like it so far.
