thanks. i wont be running those rims. too wide and the 32x11.5 took forever to set the bead lol. i cheated on that last picture. its still on the lift so its at full droop

so after finally finding time to finish my elocker and alot of trial and error. (paying someone on the next one for sure lol) i think if i made a stand for doing regearing i wouldnt mind so much since i made some special tools for it already. anyways i just need to mod the spare axle housing, install and break in the gear set. if that all goes
well i will be working on the wiring.

best pattern i could get
Shim .086
BL 0.009

the actually backlash i used was .010

no expert but it looks like the pattern could go more towards the middle

i know. but i cant get it any more without opening the backlash more. its already at .010 and i was shooting for .007 the yukon book says not to worry so much where it sits from top to bottom but more center left to right. i had zuk look at it and said its the best im gonna get on the gear set i got. they are yukon gears and went with them since marlin only sells the best. than i find out that yukon out sources all their stuff. if i have know i would have gone with a different brand. gonna run it and if it blows up it blows up. i have another elocker with a few teeth broken off. ill have someone else set up the next one and sell the old one.

your just trying to get depth correct with a nice round pattern
i guess i have more of this

COMPETITION CONTACT Pattern concentrated just up from the toe covering 1/3 to 1/2 of the tooth.

im gonna run the 32s i have with the 4.88 gearing. the automatic trans should allow me to run that high of a gearing with those tires and not be to much of a problem. i really dont wanna run any larger since the 32s are brand new and rub at full tuck and cranked left or right. (dont normal see this condition when i off road)

thanks, its funny how growing up with this runner i had never had any interest. i started just fixing all the little stuff wrong with it for my parents and somehow i ended taking it lol. i current have 2 newer cars (94 n 06) and i would trade both of them in to have this old runner lol

let me know what you think of the 4.88's

I have been going back on forth on 4.88's or 5.29's

Nice, .... GET 'CLIMBING', HOMIE! LOL. Pound those welds, too....

Just curious... The 32's on my rig don't rub at all. I think it's cuz of my offsetting on the outlaw2's I picked up. The lil lift helped a bit, but the backspacing is what I think is keeping me from rubbing(HOWEVER, they do rub on rare occasion on the front mudflaps, lol).

4cylinder with 31s. im sure with 4.88 would be a nice. the 5.29 might be too much for that size tire unless you dont plan on driving it at high speeds much

with the spacers. it makes my currect backspacing at 3.75" the 32s are also brand new and compare to my old 32s with less than half its life left added alot more height to the rubber. i have only rubbed it once and it was a really twisted up trail lol was full tuck and steering crank all the way to the left. also my low profile bump stops probably didnt help lol

snow wheeling my wheels usually straight and not alot of flex is needed hehe just traction
