Thanks guys!

Runner303 - I will take some photos for you. It's cold outside.

BigSwole - Thank you kindly. I do like to switch things around to see what's best. I tend to keep a timing light and my "SST" in the vehicle when I'm dialing things in.

I had an interesting day today. Apparently I trashed my torque converter. Actually... I didn't. The fiancee did while driving to the store. The bad news.... I have to pull the transmission. The good news... it's for the last time. 5 speed swap is on the way.

Here's a quick photo taken from a drive right before the TC went out. It was such a pretty day, great for ice climbing. I was busy climbing, so pardon the quality of the HDR.

Looks like it needs a ZUK mod or AAL. You've accomplished a lot fast though; very impressive!

Yeah.... the spacers didn't work so great.

however......... a 3 link is on the way. just waiting on parts. I'm doing it in 2 stages. Step 1, custom mount fox 2.0 remote res shocks, new springs. Step 2, 3 link it.

I HATE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS

Now that I got that out of the way. The new 5 speed is back from the tranny shop. 5th gear was made to be a bit higher, 1st was made a bit lower. Billet 1st-2nd shift fork installed. Some have asked for what this whole thing has been costing.... well the tranny at this point would've been cheaper to rebuild the auto.... but see the first line of this post.

So far, I'm into this entire rig for approximately $4595

Ah hah! I found the video I took a while ago of the exhaust. This is right after the tranny died, but right before I installed the shocks and dropped the A340H

A quick update.
The truck is in the shop right now for the 5 speed swap and some shock mounting. Yes, I could have done both on my own.... but we just got another 2 feet of snow. Soooo I'm off working and skiing and my truck is getting worked on. I stopped by the shop and was greeted with an amusing sight.

Folks, when it says "recommended" next to upgrading your shocks after a BJ spacer lift... this is what recommended means.

Oh and this was another awesome sight....

Big thanks to Tom of Wild Cat Customs and Dan of GTF. You guys rock.

Aw man, I just landed in Anchorage this morning, and am keeping an eye out for your rig. I figure it'll be hard to miss. Is that new tranny in?

Seth, it will be on the road tomorrow morning. Since I work at ANC, you will probably see it.

To JUST swap it, no tranny included was around $800. But I had other work done too.
