Professional Motor Swap

I have a 1992 Toyota Pickup standard cab 2wd 420000 miles with a 5 speed 22RE and It doesnt have a lot of life left with this motor and Transmission and I was wondering if any one would have and estimate of how much it would cost a shop to swap in a 2JZGTE motor and trans from a supra. I know the 22re is a great motor and it has served me well but its nearing the end being the compression in every cylinder is under 100PSI... I have the money and have thought about it a while considering it is not my daily driver. Thank you for your time.

It's going to depend on the shop. There is a decent amount of fab involved, motor mounts/wiring is tricky (time consuming) to make work with the trucks cab wiring.

Not to mention, to get the most out of the 2jz, you're going to want a few supporting mods, fuel pump/fmic/exhaust/etc.

Why not build an 22re maybe look into a different ecu (I think I read about one)? I just love this motor though. One got me home with a throwen rod and big hole in the side of the block.
My next 22re (hopefuly)
Intake, ported built head, header, dual row trimming chain, ect..

That being said if you do the swap are you going to try and be there to take pictures.
