If it's still the factory color then look on the door tag and or you can take a pic of it and post it on here so others can get the color code from it as well as other info that came on the items on the truck :} I looked up paint colors for your year and for dark blue is color 8E2, see if you can find that code.

You going to do a SAS? I would and have a perfect truck :}

I want to but am not ready for that yet.
As soon as my other project is up and running I will start sourcing the parts for the SAS>

I think the original color was white. Just look at the engine compartment; its white with blue overspray around the edges. Beautiful rig, none the less.

It's possibly 8P1: Speedway Blue Metallic which is a 2005 + Tacoma color. It looks soooo good.

Aright so I have been slacking and lazy.
No post for a few days.

12/27/11
Changed oil @234359

12/27/11
Chaged out Differential Front & Back
Front was Middle of the road dark
Back was close to the color of honey with streaks of grey.

Used basic gear oil as I an going to run this for the next 1000 miles or so the in with the AMSoil ˟˟˟˟.

12/27/11
Replaced Radiator, was so easy had to remove nothing but the intake hose from the filter to the throttle body to get it out.
Removed 4 of these and 2 clamps then removed it from the top. Took the fan housing off put it on the new radiator and put it back in reverse of removal.

12/30/11
Put new Exhaust system on from the Header back. I decided to keep the header as it was already there and was easier the removing and replacing with stock manifold. I will post up pics this weeked. I an going to my buddys shop http://www.globalgarage.biz/ put it on lift for some good pics.>>>

Okay early start today 7am do perform a Valve Adjustment. I have never done this before but was very easy. Had to buy this
Go-No Go gauge.
Adjusted to OE Specs 8* Intake 12* Exhaust.

I drove down to Sumitt Racing and purchased my new o2 Sensor today.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NGK-29414/ Universal 4 wire that Dub Tek rewired for me. Will put that on tomorrow after work along with this

Alright so I forgot to install the O2 sensor this weekend.
Well I did it tonight and no more Check Engine Light.
Off to the E_check shop to get the smog checked.
fingers crossed. Actually I dont care if it passes. I will get a waiver and then next year I will get historical tags and never have to worry about E-checks again.

I have ordered my Upper and Lower Ball Joints Last night.
They will be here tomorow and then I will post up the pics so u can drool over them.
Install is Schedualed for Monday the 16th James Earl Ray Day.....

Have a look at this page of Toyota factory colors. I'm wondering if you might have "Blue Streak Metallic/Mica."

It's not VooDoo. VooDoo blue is very bright blue. Yours appears to be metallic. The reason I'm so curious is my original 1st gen 4Runner was the Medium Blue Metallic (8D7). I looooved that color and always got compliments. The 1st gen I have now is white but identical to my old one in all ways but the exterior color. I'm so tempted to paint it blue. Your truck looks so good I kind of want to explore that color. I won't be painting until the winter is over.

Sorry to thread jack your mechanical progress. You have a great truck.
