87hillbillyoter's 87 slow broke build

hey yall i thought id start one thread of my whole truck instead of starting new ones everytime i did something to it lol. Its gonna be slow, hinging on money as always. the plans for it are sas, 5.29s with ARBs f/r, 35s maybe 37s, it will be a DD so well just have to see. anyways- here she is.

about a week after i bought it, i painted the rims black. oh and this was also with a newer door and fender because the PO flopped it about right before i bought it.
these pics were taken about a month after i got it.

interiors real clean

low miles

had a huge exhaust leak and barely any muffler so i took it to a shop and they threw a flowmaster 40 on.

so i drove it like that for a while. then my brother said he had some 33s he was giving away. only 2 matched, but i was like hell yea! i really didnt like the look of a 4 inch lift with 31s. so i bought some procomp rockcrawler rims and slapped em on.

holy hell, do you have bottom bump stops on the thing. I have yet to see an IFS stuff that far.

oh wait never mind, I see then they just were not extended. looks like you might have the chance of bottoming out that shock. Don't know if that's good or not. But it is crazy stuffage.

my guess is that switch is for an automatic garage door opener or a passive alarm hard to tell but very old school.
