Looks great! Is that Herculiner? Also, are you going to put the roll bar back in?

thanks, its dupli-color bed liner. And yes the roll bar will be going back in as soon as the weather clears up, it looks weird without it in there lol

Nice Truck! I got a similar one... 88... seller installed two driver seats... well maybe thats giving him too much credit... ... he "put" them in there.... I did installation...

My passenger-driver seat didn't exactly fit... new holes. no problems.
I want to add a box to the center like you did as well... wouldn't have thought about using one from... just any vehicle tho... so thanx for that!

plan on spending a day or two at a U Pull it Salvage... some time soon...
need a dash as-well. probably pull that from a Nisan or a Mazda!! heh... interior from toyota pickups/runners are just too hard to find... and when I do find one.. too expensive and far away.. I think it's time for McGiver!

not much has been done on the truck lately because im saving up for my "new to me" project 78 datsun 280z:

but i did get this awesome tailgate decal put on a few days ago!

and a little update on the bedliner, its been holding up pretty well. there is only one spot where its coming off but that is because my cousin scratched it pretty good with a shovel on accident, but so far i am happy with it

Trucks looking good! I'm still in roll bar envy Also diggin' the Yota in the background too

My dad had a '77 280z that he sold New Years Day this year. They are great cars and they sound awesome with a header and turbo muffler. It's too bad they rotted out because of cheap sheetmetal. Yours looks in good shape compared to some of them I've seen.

This is an older pic, around 2009. Before he sold it, he put a tasteful spoiler on and a "280z" decal on the rocker panel.

As a heads up, THE BEST place to get Datsun Z-car stuff is Black Dragon Automotive.

haha thanks man. that car looks clean, one day mine will be that nice. it needs a lot more work than the pic shows though like rear quarters and rocker panels (both sides), passenger floor pan, engine rebuild, alot of interior pieces that are missing, carpet... im sure i've forgotten a few things. And i've already got a black dragon auto book in the mail a week ago lol

Wow its been awhile since ive looked at this thread, i guess i stay pretty busy for an unemployed guy lol. but no not really anything new to update other than that i tripped over 200,000 miles about a week ago and that its developed a slight oil leak that i haven't traced down yet.

oh and also for those of you who may care, the 280z that i was working on is now gone. i got to working on it a little more and discovered that the frame rails are rusted beyond what i can repair so i got rid of it and with the money i had saved up from it, i bought this:

its a 2001 yamaha yz125, my cousin and a few of my good friends have been into motocross for a few years now so i decided i might as well join in on the fun! ive took it out on the track a few times now and im really loving it! i dont know why ive waited so long to get a dirtbike lol. i just ordered numbers for it and i plan to start racing some local races in january.

*update*

went to the junkyard today with my friend and scored a rear view mirror/light setup out of a 4runner for 5 bucks! I'll probably put that in the truck tomorrow
