And ya know, we've more than likely talked in person before. Haha. I'm eager to see the pix. Never seen that done before.

We have been aching to get out in the snow, but with work and life's other distractions, we haven't been able to go play.......'til today.

We headed up to Sky Ranch to meet some friends for a day of wheeling. Doug, from Savage Off-road, and his brother Roy came out with their 4Runners, along with some more family and friends. We had 7 trucks total, 5 of which were Toyota's......plus a Chevy and a Jeep. The snow was not bad where there were tracks already, but the fresh stuff was just waiting to bury one of us to the frame. The day was full of fun, sun, and a lot of shoveling.

On to the pics...

I can't get over how beautiful it was out there today...

Probably about 3' deep on the road....

The Savage 4Runners....

We tried to make fresh tracks on this road, but it was a no go for the heavy Chevy....

And I snapped my winch cable trying to get him out...

So we used the other 4Runner with a winch, and finally got him out...

Some more pics...

Looks like you guys had fun. Sorry I missed it, but I need to get the "firerunner" going before I have too much fun! Bummer about your winch. Great pics, though.

I finished my cup holders today. I had to make a cover for the hole I cut in the floorboard for the 95 transmission/t-case swap, so I figured I'd add some much needed cup holders while I was at it. I removed the old console, and replaced it with a plastic ammo can that contained some .223 rounds I bought a while back. I was originally going to use a .50 cal metal ammo can, but I liked the size of this one better. I cut some sheet metal to cover the tunnel, and added some tube, cut to 3" lengths for the cup holders. I made it a two piece unit so I can easily modify the cover down the road, just in case I decide to go with dual cases. I painted the cover OD Green to match the truck, and the cup holders black to see if I like the two-tone look.

Great minds think alike, I guess. About the only thing productive that I did today was replacing my center console with an ammo can. I was even looking at it when I was done and thinking, "Wow, that space in front of it would be a great place to put a set of cup holders."

Why are you swapping your tranny and T-case?

I had to swap the tranny back in August of last year. The original transmission was making a lot of bearing noise.

Anyhow, I had to cut the floorboard to clear the shifters on the new tranny, so the trim and shift boots didn't fit anymore. I made the cover a few months ago, and today I finally got around to adding the cup holders.

Thanks. It's working out great, so far.

On another note. I just scored an inclinometer off the MC forum last night. Should be here this weekend. Finally......I am sick of looking at that bracket on my dash. I'll post pics when I get it installed.

I saw your build thread when you posted your bumper and just read through the whole thing. Nice work on your truck man. And again, that bumper is super nice. And if you do decide to sell them, there will be a pretty big markek for them, as you can probably already tell lol. Also, you have some beautiful trails around you!

Thanks, I appreciate all the compliments. Hopefully we'll be able to get some bumpers built for you guys down the road. There has definitely been a lot of interest.

I got my inclinometer yesterday, but wasn't able to get a look at it until this afternoon. Well, apparently it was damaged by the shipper. I let the guy know, and he's supposed talk to the shipping company tomorrow about a claim. We'll see how it turns out.

Well, I worked out an agreement with the seller on the inclinometer. I'm going to keep it, and try to find a new faceplate for it. He credited some of the money back for the part. I went ahead and mounted it, and it seems to be working properly. It looks much better than just the bracket sitting there.

Also, I just ordered a Supra AFM for $38 shipped to my door. I can't wait to get it! This has been on the to do list for too long. Hopefully it will arrive safely......

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

B4Runner-I just ordered a set of gray seat belts for the rear seats in my 4Runner. You are welcome to the brown ones I have now, if you want the 3 point setup. Oh, and I found that defroster switch, but I don't think it's the one you want. Let me know.

Agreed: much better than just the brackets! How much would you want for the belts? I completely forgot to take a look at them that other day. And I've changed my mind about the defroster switch I want. I'm lookin for one from below so it can fit into the radio bezel. I'm showin the one from our 86 Corolla.

Yeah, I don't have that switch. Mine's just the original 4Runner one. You can have the seat belts, as soon as I get the new ones installed.
