I didnt get to weld in the muffler today b/c i ran out of wire for my wire welder. i also discovered how bad i am at welding today and thats what the spray paint is for to cover up the ugliness so it is just straight piped for now. (sounds like a tractor) mabe i can run into town tomorow and get some wire.

Was going to say it needed a stove pipe cap there. So I only have the mount to comment on I guess. Should have made a bracket for the bed mount. Nothing hide with paint if it's all bolt on and don't be ashamed of ugly welds thats why we have grinders! (Plus from experience, if you don't grind out the slag it'll just rust it's way thru the paint)

I'd of probably went with the rear facing stack laying on the left side of the bus. I'm a fan of the "Lil red truck" with it's dual stacks of course.

Looking good Sir! Keep at 'er!

Haha thanks man that pipe to the left of the bus was the one i was originally going to use but i just decided it was going to be a lot more fabbing and also i reeeeeally wanted the tractor flapper on top so this worked the best. and yeah my grinder broke so i tried to get as much of the slag off as possible with a bench grinder. also do you know anything about what type of wire i need to get next, should i just take the old roll and get the same thing (what i just ran out of is what came with the welder (its brand new)) or is their something better (brand or type wise)

well guy's today really sucked. My dog oreo a white shihtzu just got hit by a car. He belonged to my grandma who just passed away last june. (which just makes it that much harder). My family is really supportive and i went riding around in my truck for a while this evening to take my mind off of things.Name: 20121026_181717_zpsd60733dc.jpg

Sorry about the pup man. makes me sad just thinking about it. I gave up on pets when my bull terrier chow mix got hit 5-10 feet away from me and died in my lap. Ppl suck, guy never even stoped and it was the neighbor kid even.

My wire spool has a label, but your owners manual should say the wire guage too. I'm still working thru my HF spool, but I've heard its crap and to get some "name-brand" stuff when it runs out.

Thanks man, i still have my other shihtzu, he's solid black and 5 years old, thing is my other grandma's dog (black lab) just passed away last week, he was 15 years old. we found him on the side of the road as a pup and raised him he would shake your hand or i could even ask him where granny was and he would lead me to her if she was outside somewhere. I had just ran out of the lincon stuff that came with the welder and im going to tractor supply tomorow to see what they have. Also i have to get a battery b/c its going bad and had to get a friend to jump me off after school today.
