I didnt get to weld in the muffler today b/c i ran out of wire for my wire welder. i also discovered how bad i am at welding today and thats what the spray paint is for to cover up the ugliness so it is just straight piped for now. (sounds like a tractor) mabe i can run into town tomorow and get some wire.

LOL I'd be more worried about breathing that than the degreaser burn off. yuck.
Was going to say it needed a stove pipe cap there. So I only have the mount to comment on I guess. Should have made a bracket for the bed mount. Nothing hide with paint if it's all bolt on
and don't be ashamed of ugly welds thats why we have grinders! (Plus from experience, if you don't grind out the slag it'll just rust it's way thru the paint)
I'd of probably went with the rear facing stack laying on the left side of the bus. I'm a fan of the "Lil red truck" with it's dual stacks of course.
Looking good Sir! Keep at 'er!
and i am going to cover that hole in the bed with some sheet metal whenever i go get more wire for the welder

well guy's today really sucked. My dog oreo a white shihtzu just got hit by a car. He belonged to my grandma who just passed away last june. (which just makes it that much harder). My family is really supportive and i went riding around in my truck for a while this evening to take my mind off of things.

Sorry about the pup man. makes me sad just thinking about it. I gave up on pets when my bull terrier chow mix got hit 5-10 feet away from me and died in my lap. Ppl suck, guy never even stoped and it was the neighbor kid even.
My wire spool has a label, but your owners manual should say the wire guage too. I'm still working thru my HF spool, but I've heard its crap and to get some "name-brand" stuff when it runs out.
