Yea I know it pretty rough but its got a lot of potential. I pulled the panels off inside to try to figure an electric problem I was having. And the hood isn't latched that's why it looks like it has a gap. I haven't seen any rust anywhere except for a minimal amount from one of those stupid plastic Berliner's, but its getting new paint soon so hey. Also its a very straight truck, all the gaps are equal on all sides and its straight frame. I already got the front quarter panels and both doors off of eBay. And I just sold my 2005 4runner today so now I have some extra money to put into to this one! And might be done before i expected!!! Anyone know of anyone else swapping 4runner seats and console with th shifter bezel and the 2door 4runner interior panels with power windows and locks? Really wanting to do this but I don't want to buy everything and it doesn't fit. Also I live in south Carolina. Go cocks! (Lol and I mean gamecocks before that ends up in someones sig)

All the rust on mine was from a stupid plastic bed liner too on top bed rails, but no holes whew!!!! Go look at my build pics you'll see, did alot of grinding off rust and lots of touch-up painting, had to do some more yesterday when it as in middle 50's here.

Going to get it Rhino lined or line-X over lap edge of to rail to cover where it was rusted :}

Well got everything off and man is it dirty in there, timing chain guide broke in half and into prices. Taking the head off today and taking it to machine shop to get refreshed and hopefully. Get some good news about the valves. Pics comin! Also found the problem to my shaking problem I have another thread about, UV joint is completley shot! Had local lube shop go over underneath the truck when I got all fluids changed and they said everything was good... wonder what else they missed, goin at it again today after work! Can't wait!

Got the head to the machine shop andbshould hear something in a few days. Goin after the clutch tonight if I can. The lower sprocket on the timing chain, tensioner, andbdrivers side guide were all broken into prices, lol guess that will cause a truck to not to run. Ill update more when I hear some news from the machine shop. Keeping my fingers crossed

Finally got the head back, no bent valves but had the valves adjusted and had it resurfaced. Goin back at it tomorrow, been sick for about a week now and haven't felt like messing with it, will post more pics and update tomorrow, then the clutch and UV joints, Marlin Crawler stuff on back order.. might have to go to stealership :-(
