jamarak's 1988 4Runner Build-Up Thread
I am just starting to build up my 1988 4runner. It is a 22re, 5speed with 215,000 miles. Here is what I am planning on doing over the next few months.
SAS with an axle from a 1983 Toyota Pickup.
3" trail gear IFS Eliminator Kit
4" classic rear lift
Front and rear locked with 5.29 gears
33 or 35" tires
front and rear bumpers
winch
roof rack
soft topper soft top
And much more.
Here is what I am starting with.

This will not be a very fast build, but I will keep you all updated!

Update
Well i got the brackets cut off and almost all ground down and started cleaning the axles.
Picked these up today at my junkyard for $40.
Hope to get them cleaned up and ready to go after the Holidays. Also getting hubs and front differential after Christmas.
