FadingAway's '90 4Runner 2DR Build-Up Thread

So I finally decided to start building it up. The head gasket blew last week in the 3.slow so it's time for an upgrade. Swapping the AT for a manual as well. I picked up the R150F last week. It only had 105k on it! Going down to Oregon to pick up my 4.3 w/ brains out of a 2000 Blazer that has 80k on it. Will post pics soon. Still needing to order my AA adapter kit, headersm and body lift to fit it sigh.

I had to weld the clutch assembly I bought.

Replacing the rear bumper section.

Most of the interior ripped out for what I need to do.

My oil wasn't milky yet so I was checking my water pump. That wasn't it so it's the head gasket. Most of the wiring unplugged. Hoses disconnected etc. I have a new radiator sitting in the garage.

My R150F is at my buddies shop. Picking up my 4.3 tomorrow with harness and ecu. Also ordered the AA bellhousing adapter, motor mounts, headers, and my body lift. Then time to rip out the tranny and engine. Fun times!

Just pulled up with the motor.

Time to take it apart. New gaskets etc, etc.
