Nice man, I love the flat bad...different, yet still a classic flat bed kinda look too. Front bumper is killer as well! I need to get a tube bender! what did you use for tube notching?

Ive used the the original JD2 notcher which sucked horribly. CHEAP looks like their new design is a 100x better

but beyond that weve used just elbow grease with a grinder or the harbor freight notcher which was vastly superior to the overpriced jd2 junk. but both sucked.

I want a Baileigh notcher. Those are legit.

lil update...

the headgasket blew...again before Xmas. Had to have the head milled, checked etc, new OEM HG from toyota, fried my temp controller for my E-fan on accident after i had it all back together. Got that fixed, and shes back on the road.

Shouldnt have anymore HG issues unless I overheat it on accident again... seems to be my curse, overheating these 22rs... by no direct fault of my own.

Cracked radiator, faulty HG, E-fan breakage on the hot trail, cooling issues seem to haunt me

Nothing new mod wise.

I did pick this up the day after i got the motor fixed... talk about lame!!!

tire was flat in 30 seconds.. this is why i carry that fullsize MTR spare baby! ended up finding a matching used MTR that same day ..set me back $150 but thats with mount n balance so not to bad. I mean what are the odds of finding a 37 MTR in town with the same amoutn of wear as my current tires? .... this is random too but a guy gave me a full carton of Camel Lights when i was changing my tire at the gas station? ... that crap aint cheap in washington!

You know it's my own creation, its for me. It never was my goal to gain attention by building this, its not a chick magnet at all, girls just dont get it. Instead they ask dumb questions about and think its retarded. I get a lof of "wheres the other half of your truck?" .... "Do you go offroading?" ... "I dont get it"...

it gets a lot of attention tho, i even get waves from jeep guys haha. State Patrol also loves it, in a very unhealthy love relationship kind of way. squares... go catch real criminals u wanks

Thumbs up

Well we still think it is awesomeness. LOL
I do not understand the State Patrol taking interest, but fully understand how many people will ask really silly questions. We get that all the time with our truck too.
LOL
It's our job to edjumikate the world you know....

not an eventful update, just a snapshot from the woods last time i was up. I'd post a vid of us blowing stuff up with tannerite but its on my FB so cant be viewed here :/

Then just a more recent shot of the front with the winch officially installed. Already used it about 20 times. It has two vehicle recoveries on it, newer 4 door Tacoma slid off a forest road down a ravine then later the same night a quad cab long bed F250 Triton V10 that was in an 8ft ditch, now that recovery really made the tmax 9k work. wooeeee, then a crap load of tree removals off of highways and my backyard ;p

and this from the ice storm the South Puget Sound area saw a month ago... you dont see this kind of stuff very often!

The Lexus SC300 and my non running 85 ext cab sr5 got smacked by this huge limb off our maple! Luckily the 14" of snow encrusted on the vehicles protected them from even a scratch!

And, since i included the 85 ext cab... heres a pic of it from last fall when i picked it up, its been sitting ever since havent had the money to do anything with it yet. I want to make it my new daily driver but this winter has been non stop surprise expenditures so it continues to sit with a blown motor.
