don178 95 4runner 3.0 build-up thread
Black 95 4runner 3.0
Well i got the 4runner last year and i wish i would have taking before and after pictures to show all the work that has been done, The rear gate was rusted out side rear fenders, front bottom fenders and some rust below door, all fixed and had the 4 runner painted black.
95 4 runner parts installed so far:
All new ball joints and CV
5inch suspension lift
Rear end rebuilt
33x12.5x15 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2
15X8 6-5.5in 3.75in BS BL
Fender Flares - not on yet
ALOT OF MOTOR WORK - to many parts to list
Whats to come:
SAS - when front end starts to go on current rebuild...
Lockers
As of right now i am kind of cut off from my spending for a little got in trouble with the wife im sure any married guys on here know what that is like lol Well ill get some pictures up so you can see what i have done so far.

Interested to hear what you got for motor work. Its nice to see people put love in to the old 3vze.

Well doing the heads and knock sensor as of right now, the guy that had it before me had wires cut parts missing so it was like a big puzzle trying to find out what was missing and not hooked up but i got it after time. I'm trying to keep most of every thing OEM but also make it more off road friendly.

replacing knock sensor and wire
Well today i started the long step to replacing your knock sensor and wire, I took pictures of my vac lines,fuel and so on so when i go putting everything back together i know where they go... The more i took apart the more probs and things i found wrong!!!!
Oppps - it was like this before i took off need new one
Need to replace some of my hoses...
Down to where i can see the knock sensor plug. and from what i have found someone before me has cut the wires on the plug for some reason!
Plenum off!!!
