Haven't posted anything for a while, been too busy working. Got good news though! Finally bucked up and bought myself some new tires. I went with the 31x10.5 BFG All Terrains, I wanted to get the 33x10.5 but they are currently back ordered around the nation for 2 months. Figured I'd save a little on gas and just go with the 31's. This monday I'm also getting my rims power coated flat black. They look good from a far but up close I have the typical clear coat peeling and what not that looks pretty bad.

Also I picked up this bad boy for pretty cheap from a good buddy of mine came with a 36" antenna and all the wiring so pretty stoked!

I'm pretty happy with how she sits now so not too sure on what else I want to do with it next, suggestions?

BFG All Terrain Test Drive/ Fail...

After getting my new tires on Saturday I decided to take them out for a good test ride since I haven't been wheelin in over a year. The BFG All Terrains handle great on the road and are incredibly smooth compared to my old bald tires. They did pretty well out in the mud until I got a little too bold faced and tried out another hole. I checked it out and dipped a shovel in it and wasn't too bad so I figured I could handle it. Learned that mud holes are always deeper then you think they are...

My buddy had a little wrangler and no way I was gonna let him try to pull me out nor could it even. Thankfully a few friendly guys happen to drive by and lend a helping hand. The blue truck tried for a while then the white chevy came by and ended up hooking up to eachother to pull me out. My truck wouldn't start so they were just pulling the dead weight. Finally got her out and popped the hood and cleaned out the air filter and she started right on up! Probably could have done that while it was in the hole but I was too nervous to think about doing that just worried about getting it out then. Looking back I'm laughing now, newbies gotta learn somehow. Going up this weekend again to get some more mud in my life, just staying clear of that hole!

Got the wheels picked up and had them put back on and in the end result... couldn't be happier. The runner looks amazing and feel like my next project would be to tint the front windows a dark shade. I feel that would really pull the look together. Not planning on going for the murdered out look since i like the paint too much but that blue and decals with black trim, wheels, and bumpers(eventually) would just be one slick looking ride.
