New Boots!

I know its been awhile but I have been swamped with work and school lately. I ran across a great deal someone had just posted on CL. Just got back to the apt with them in the runner!

Ill get some pics of them mounted up this weekend. I get this weekend off due to my sisters graduation so hopefully I can get some body work done also.

32x11.50s with a lot of life left, they are on 15x10 inch american racing saw blades that need a little polishing but nothing a little mothers cant take care of.

Got some work done over the weekend and snapped a few pics. Yea they are horrible but the digital camera was full of my sisters high school graduation pics so I would have been ate alive if I would have deleted them.

Body work is almost finished I got most of the noticeable dents out and prepped. All I have left is to finish sanding the glazing putty down and a coat of primer on top of it. Then I'm ready for wet sanding!

Here are some shots of the tires. They rub a little but not too bad. I turned the torsion bars a little. As of now my rim to fender measurement in the front is 14.5 inches.

These are horrible shots because of my phone but they should give you an idea of the stance.

That '70 Mustang looks tough too.

Let us know how much MPG the wide tires hurt you. I always wondered. Im getting right at 19mpg when mine is corrected. I go laid off 3 weeks ago and I am starting to wonder if I have to commute a good ways (up to an hour each way to work) if 4.88's or smaller tires would be the better investment.

I never checked my mpg with the small tires...guess I was scared to see how bad it actually was.

Here is the newest damage.

All apart for new rotors, CV axles, lower ball joints. Just had the steering relay rod recall completed and they said my bjs were going bad.

Took it all apart and then got pneumonia...so truck sat like this for a few weeks. A long day and $250 of parts later she is back on her feet. Only a few setbacks...ended up having to cut off the swaybar endlinks with the sawzall and had to torch off the castle nuts on the old bjs.

Anything new with this truck? this thing is coming out very nice. i just gotta 93 SR5 Xcab that will look almost identical to yours when Im done with it. how those 32x11.50's workin for ya? they give that truck a great stance. some 33x12.50's came in the deal with my truck but i think they are gonna be too much for what i will be doin with my truck.

Not much new just been driving her as is I did finally get the power steering pump that I rebuilt back on and that straightened out a few issues there. I have been really busy with final projects for school and everything lately so dad is getting more use out of it than I have. The 32s are great, they fit with a little tbar crank and dont rub too bad.
