Hey guys, been a proud owner of a 95 4Runner for 3 months now. Used to be a Chevy guy untill I rolled my 1988 S-10 Blazer with a 5 day old engine into Stave lake. Been posting here for a little bit now and figured I should start a build up thread as I am mid way through a head gasket job right now and have plans for this Yota.

So its a 95 4Runner SR5 with 250xxxkms. Done a little bit of mechanical work to it so far. Did all 4 balljoints, idler arm, calipers, and the little tune up stuff. Now im half way through a head gasket job.

Here's the Runner when I bought it.






Didn't take long for the nice clean motor to get dirty...


Yes sag is getting fixed after the head gaskets.


Pretty much the limits of the stock suspension, back tire is pretty stuffed.


Oh and here's where im at now...


Got the heads on today


Still waiting on my head bolts and timing belt and water pump set with all the pulleys and tensioners.

I'll be asking lots of "Where does this go" "What is this for" so hopefully you guys can help me out in this thread.

Also my plans for it after the headgaskets:
- Fix the sag, thinking OEM springs in the back and new Bilstein shocks for now. (eventually lift it)
- 31x10.5 Duratracs on 15x8 Daytona style steel wheels
- Trail Gear front bumper & Rock Sliders
- De chrome it
etc.
