BTW, .......just an update.
Things are pretty rough with his recovery at home. I'm over, but we've had to move my mom out of the room because he's been keeping her up all night, for days! Finally, last night, got her in the guest room and she slept well... but he did not, ALL night from 9pm-2:30am he was up 20 times. From there to 6AM it was just a few more times up, but nonetheless, .... it's not good. Going to have to find a reasonable Night Sitter for him, FOR SURE! At least until he comes out of the sundowner syndrome(oh yes, IT IS a real thing... and not fun, ....AT ALL!) I've helped him through this after his stroke, but that's much different.... In that case, they want him to sleep a LOT, for healing.... In this case(open heart), they DO NOT want him sleeping too much... He's got to move,....and he's very stubborn and has NO interest in doing anything when they're not here making him, ya know?
Anywhoooooooo, an interesting Christmas is ahead... But I'm grateful nonetheless.

Hey chef just checkn in my grandmother just had her second stroke last weekend and lost the movement in her left side except a lil in her left leg. shes doing pretty good except for that part. On to the exhaust sounds good i wish i could figure how to get my digital camera videos on to the computer so abnormal could have a comparison with a flowmaster.

hey man...wishing you well and strength for all that is happening. so easy to throw your hands up and give up, so I commend you for sticking in there. watched my mom age exponentially when my dad was sick, because of the mental anguish that comes with it as well as the physical stuff. sun-downers is quite real, that's for sure.
Wishing you and your's a Merry Christmas. Goes the same for the rest of you guys.

Hey Blake, ........
You've heard my truck/ridden in it....... What'cha think of my exhaust?
PS> 'Abnormal' is whom I did the video/audio for(not great quality, lol).... You could just PM him some video if you want. I loved my flowmaster on my White 4Runner, it just didn't last as long as my Borla has, but the sound was similar. I think the Flowmaster 40 was a bit more ricey in the top end though.....but very alike the Borla.

Hello Chef..Got you in my thoughts and prayers. These long illnes are really tough on those others that are around. Hadnt heard of "sun-downers". Any way of getting him excited about life again? Something he may enjoy? His attitude or will his what can get him over this hill.
Your truck keeps looking better all the time. I know the detail you put into it. Keep up the great work all on things.

Thanks, Jason, Terry!
Yeah, Terry, Sundowners is real, FOR SURE! Ask Jerry.... I'm sure he hears of PCU and TCU patients putting his fellow RN's and otherwise through it alllllllll the time.
I hear ya on 'excited about life'..... thing is, his excitement is being 'served' and never leaving the house other than for movies/dr. appts......... And getting him active during the day is rough, especially for those who he knows well... he just postures and 'NO', all the time. He doesn't wanna exercise, feels, "I will get better, I KNOW, if I just rest more"........ which is not only nonsense, but also, it means he wont sleep all night. For some reason, Strokes and Open Heart/Lung and Heart Machines cause a syndrome in MANY patients where they just TOTALLY flip day and night. It's also hard to tell day from night in those places..... So I'm sure it was worse at the Hospital, a lil better at the Nursing home that last few weeks. Either way, ....... he has bad nights and good. The only good ones are the ones where he's been RUN OUT OF GAS, ALL DAY, by me or his daughter. Now, unfortunately, his daughter is heading home..... So I guess this could get really rough for my mom and me. Not sure how it will turn out......, but I AM sure that I'm praying non-stop! lol.
WILL NOT AND CAN NOT allow this to effect my mothers health in any more of a powerful way than it already has, ya know?????? That's the problem..... He is very controlling and jealous.... Always has been...... So while it should work, saying, "If you can't be still and stay in bed, she can't sleep in here"...... It doesn't, always. Because, well, he's VERY used to getting his way(mom's an enabler, as were all his other wives and family! lol).
Anyway, ..... I will stop short of sharing what I REALLY feel! LOL. I will say, that I sure wish all of you could know my mother........ She's quite seriously the NICEST person I've ever known. Everyone who's known her feels the same, and many who've had rough upbringings have agreed..... "She's my mom now, k?" lol. Unfortunately, her gifts of love come with curses of personality as well, like her having a 'BAD PICKER' and an 'ENABLING/PLEASER', ya know? lol.
Thanks, on the pics/video's, those who said nice stuff, lol.... appreciate it. I wish I had a better video cam... just not in the cards just yet.

It's not really close... but if I was heading to see my Pop's in AZ anytime soon, .....yep, it'd be worth a stop. I just need one more of those, actually, for my 5th 32x11.50x15"! Grrr, lol. Actually, I got a great deal on all 5 and the 4 rims I DID grab, .... 450$ all together, pretty great deal. Just don't wanna buy a new one, ya know?

Well, I might have a lil time coming up and I'm really wanting to get some stuff done.
1. I want to find an appropriate factory rack(Xterra, S10, 2nd Gen Runner) to mount my Con-Ferr rack too, along with some lights a buddy gave me(already have the hole in the roof to run the wiring through, so that's a plus, lol). I don't like the gutter mounting method, at least not with the 1st gens, the plastic on the shell is just too MEH for that kind of weight/drama. (The rack is like 20$ at Pick-U-Part).
2. Want to install my new Pioneer Deck......... DYING to do so.... But also want to put in some 6.5''s in the door, then run 2-4channel amps to the front 4 and then run the 6x9 4ways I have in the back seat panel and some 8-10"s in the rear panel(I know, I'd have to build a structure to house them, but I'm willing to figure something out.
)
3. Want to permanently install the 750W Inverter in the rear somewhere. Also want to install the Water Proof 12V Aux outlets in the bumper area and back seat area. (have all that stuff, just need time).
Sorry I've been so stagnant, ......... just been overwhelmed with the Step-Dad. he's doing a LIL better now and can be dealt with by mostly my mom, so I don't have to always be there for him. Really hoping it doesn't break down my mom's health too bad(him getting up at night like 5 times has gotten less, ....1 or 2 times now..... PROSTATE ISSUES ARE A WITCH! LOL)

i think the 2nd gen rack would be best. just install nutserts and bolt the 2nd gen rack in. thats how they are done at the dealer when people wanted them installed back in the days on the 2nd gen. i been holding off on a roof rack only because i can barely clear my garage at the height im at now haha

Try a Cherokee factory roof rack, when I had my Cherokee and it didn't have a factory rack so got the shorty sporty kind from SY, there are 2 kinds, one goes from front to back of roof and there is a shorter sport version that goes only around 3/4 of the way and looks "SPORTY" and might be a perfect length for a 4Runners cap, but the Cherokee has a flatter roof than 4Runner cap so just an idea to throw at you, they to are mounted with inserts in the roof, but I just used threaded machine bolts and nuts with large fender washers to hold the rack on the roof on the inside... What ever you come up with post lots of install pics. The S-10 Blazer racks are small and might work the best for you, and the Nissan xterra have the step down roof racks cause the back section on them have a raised roof and when it comes to the cab area it's lower and the rack is not entirely flat across the roof like a 4runner is with some cutting and welding the xterra rack looks real beefy with the round tubes it has, or cut it at the middle leg right at the step down, Throw out some idea's, What do you think?
Have a happy New Years :}

Thanks, guys
I'm quickly deciding against the multi-speaker system for now, at least. Was out, yesterday, listening to the FM(I'm more of a talk radio guy most often... but this weekend? NADA! lol)..... My System with the older Pioneer deck is VERY clean, plenty loud for me..... Especially with the Blaupunkts up front. Plus, my buddy saw I posted that about making cut outs and such and gave me a good scolding for even thinking about it! lol. I DO have spare rear panels in perfect condition.... So I will probably still do the 8"rs in the very rear, just for a bit cleaner lows.... (I have about 6 subs just laying around from older rigs... 2 10's and 4 8's). Just need to think up some way to mount them in the rear. Then, I'll probably run the 2 channel I have to the subs and 4channel to the 6x9's and the 4's up front. That's what I had in a blazer with a good alpine deck and it was SICK clean.... not SUPER THUMP, but SUPER clean, ya know? Now, with the movies that will be played on it on trips, etc., it will be really nice and plenty for me.
Thanks on the rack stuff..... I had a Pathfinder rack all but at the counter at Pickupart, but i was a day off on the 50% off sale, GRRR, ..so I just left it in the back of a suburban.... Next day, gone. OH WELL, geeesh, lol. With the roof being a bit rounded, I know I need at least a 2" lift on the rails to get the cage to fit right onto the rails and bolt the center supports into the side to side supports in the factory racks like the pathfinder and 4runner(2nd gen).
I have to try to find time to just CHANGE THE FREAKIN OIL FOR NOW! lol. Like I said, he's getting in the 'safer zone', so I'll be able to have more time to deal with my own life/return back to normal a bit.
Happy New Years, everyone!!!!!!!!!

Easy days....... ahhhhhhhh, that would be nice! hahaha. Nah, I'm blessed.... I have many people in my life/around me that have much more drama/crises/harder lives going on. Just a bit wiped out... But 'join the crowd', right? lol.
Hope all's well, man!
