Wondering if anyone has ever replaced the brake line brackets/mounts to the firewall before. I was trying to clean mine up by soaking them in vinegar (to remove rust) forgot about if for too long and it ate the rubber inside that actually secures the brake lines. Their a little crusty now, so I was hoping to just replace them.
On the side I can read " INOAC 90480-01224" on the ones that hold 3 lines and "INOAC 90480-01220" on the ones that hold 2.
Looked it up and found the big industrial company "INOAC" that just makes plastic and poly stuff, but cant figure out where to buy these.
Kinda a weird one most people don't replace ever, but thought I would give it a shot.
The brake clamps for my '87 are discontinued. A few I checked for 8/88 - 11/95 are still available.
Click the link below. Click on the 6 digit code next to the clamp to get the 10 digit part # to order from Toyota. Order online to get a better price.
