Boon's 89 pickup budget build
Well here it starts...
This is actually the second time I've owned this truck. When I first got it I had just driven a ford into the ground and was in the market for a small get around vehicle, and my father had just purchased a subaru impreza. I brought him to pick it up from the dealer in my yota, he commented on how he liked it so much and all...long story short we ended up trading outright and I thought my Toyota story had ended there. 4 years later I was wrong. But enough story time.
Here she is about 2 months after I bought her back

I've already discussed how I built this switch box on another thread but for the sake of it being the build page for my truck...
The box is a 4 switch lighted panel from cabela's (about $50...in the boating section in an inconspicuous unlabeled box), lexan superglued together, and covered with black vinyl I got from a craft store for 4 bucks with the spray adhesive I got at the same place for $5

For the purpose of future questions, that box is in no way attached to my truck...I put it against the TC shifter and moved the seat forward. Its short enough to not interfere with anything.
Future plans include:
Rear Aussie Locker
4.30's or 4.88's
Armor of all sorts
31x10.5 mud terrains when my tires go to crap. they only have about 10k now
SAS with 3-4" of lift
Front locker at the same time as SAS
In that order.
