steep hill + loss of traction + stump = that bumper LOL

Trail Gear was AWESOME about the warranty and shipped a new one out to me and the side support kit (at the time i didnt know i could use it as the website was marked wrong...).

New one is finally on with support kit. TG is great to deal with, so I will be using them again. Although, anything metal is gonna be coming from Badland Bumpers from now on!!!

Update December 7th!

So.... First things first...

Rewired my HELLA 500's

What it started with...

The new shiz!

Look, Pretty!

(this is the relay btw)

(new style of inline fuse)

Works again!

oh and upgraded them to 100watts...

Final touches!
(was this)

(is now this)

CB Radio!

Took out the old wires that where in the CB... Re soldered new wires and soldered in a better inline fuse.

Was mounted here!

But I drive with my right hand, so I moved it...

Keeping it all tidy!

Finished!

External Speaker!

Took the old rear speaker from the runner, got a speaker cord... cut it, added female parts (hahahaha yeah yeah, laugh it up), got it working, sounds great and is a bunch louder!

Mounted it here! Gonna get some fine hardware cloth to use to cover it and protect it.

Exterior pics!

Exterior Pics time!

So... Did I mention they warrantied my bumper? LOL

Stylish outside pics.

Lol my classy spare tire area!

Cant wait until I make my swingout...

Hi Lift Jack and its mount!

(bad picture, but the plate has 3 bolts, one that goes through the rack, and 2 that go through the plate, welded into place and through the hi lift)

(bolts come through, plate goes over, nuts go on, and cranked down! Cant get them off by hand)

(and do try and convince bad people otherwise...)

Sexy Sticker section!

And gotta have my feathers, afterall I am a BirdBrain :-P

(for the record I am a Licensed Falconer in the state of Washington and thereby allowed to have those feathers)

Thats it for now...
coming next week..

Sas!!!

(oh I wish)

Now when I help you again we will have a decent pair!

And that speaker works well... pfft 20-30 bucks for a CB external... screw that... try 3.25$ at the shack for the cord!

Lol... Suction cup it came with?

The wire goes down through my dash, under my floor mat, and then plugs into my lighter ports...

I do want to splice it into a power source though and get rid of having to have it in a cig lighter...

Hmmm... Maybe ill plug it into my Cbs power source... yes! Wiring splicing ftw! LOL

I know everyone is entitled to their opinion. But you really need to watch your critisism of other peoples stuff. You seem to do it quite a bit. Not trying to start an arguement or anything. Just callin' em' as i see em'

exactly..last time i checked this is a public forum and EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion...there was NOTHING in my post that was offensive or bad in any way...i like the look of the Basher Tube bumper on the 2nd gen trucks (like my '86), but i have NEVER seen one on a 2nd gen 4runner (which is what i have now, a '92)...now that i have i do not want the bumper because it doesnt have the look that i want!

If he likes the bumper GREAT!!! i know its a VERY well built bumper and it looks great on his 4runner, but i don't like the look of it personally.

If you guys wanna go criticize (spell check 2DoorRunner ) my stuff go right ahead! It's a PUBLIC FORUM and i can say WHATEVER I WANT, as long as it's not breaking the rules LOL!!

if my post was offensive in anyway, i apologize! It wasn't meant to be like that, it's just not my style dude.

and everybody has their own taste, and i like the Kennesaw Mtn. bumpers, but i have heard they are slow as hell and have BAD customer service, chances are i won't go to them, but i like that bumper better than the Badland's (on a 2nd gen 4runner).

hell i have a line on a Jeep Cherokee ARB, the guy is checkin measurements for me, and if it fits my 4runner(modding brackets is no problem ) then i'm gonna scoop it up!!!!
