Search. If ya have to ask, you're probably in over you're head. only kidding.
If you're talking about the 1gr-fe, I think it is a very difficult swap, probably including most of the instrument cluster, etc. You will more than likely need an entire donor for the swap.

SEARCH!!! there is an entire section devoted to this topic and motor swap. If your asking these simple questions sure any swap is gonna be a nightmare for you. should just buy a rig with what you want and save yourself this job that might just be to much for you

Check out this section: www.yotatech.com/f160
Tons of info there. Also maybe google Andrew Zook, I think and check out the information on Offroad Solutions. Even though they're out of business, they have a pretty good FAQ and a list of parts reused from the 3.0 and what you'll need from donor vehicles.

The information is out there, a few people are good with the wiring and will do a conversion harness if you ask nice enough/pay enough, and there's at least Toy Only Swaps for companies doing the swap. They prefer to have the vehicle there, but they told me they can do conversion or standalone harnesses if needed.
