You'll have to let me know how it rides on the road then with 36s and leafs up front. I've been contemplating SASing my 4Runner with leafs front and rear... but I want to keep the plated bumpers. and possibly pull a single leaf from the front pack. i know itll be rougher than IFS for sure, but if its not as bad as people say it is, i'll definitely consider it more!

Yeah I'll keep you updated on that...from the little I drove it around the neighborhood it was really smooth, but once everything is all done I'll post up my overall opinion.

Sorry for the slowness on updates...I got my hubs rebuilt and the chromo hub gears and Dirty 30's installed....UPS guy showed up today with my Sky Manufacturing chevy spring swap kit, but I won't be installing that until the end of December/beginning of January as I'll be up in CA from Monday till the 27th, I'll post up some full truck pictures when I get the rear installed...it looks pretty funky right now with just the front swap and the stock rear

You'll get over it.

Another thing you'll get is an acute familiarization with 'death wobble'.

Is that rear sky kit for 2.5" or 3" wide springs?

I have no death wobble now, as long as I keep everything torqued correctly I should be fine I would think?

Not sure, but would imagine it is for 2.5...that's how wide the chevy springs are, unless they make 3 inch wide ones as well?

Keep us posted. You may have the right combination. My SAS was good at first, but as tires started wearing and the springs settled in, the excitement began. It'll keep ya on your toes.

Haven't been on here in a while, but just thought Id give a quick update...The truck is 85% done or so, still need to do a list of little things including getting shocks for the rear, and moving the front axle forward about an inch and a half, but the chevy spring swap went really smooth and I am impressed with how soft the springs are. The front still sits a little higher than the rear, but I am hoping that the front will settle and level the truck out...if not, I may go with an add a leaf, or a one inch lift block...we'll see. Anyways on to the important thing, the picture. I lost my battery charger for my camera so it's just a quick crappy cell phone pick but whatever...

And one more thing, I just wanted to give a big thanks and shout out to Scotty at Addicted Offroad, I ordered most of my stuff through him and he's also been a help with some quick questions on the phone. I highly recommend him! Great customer service!

Went on a quick shake down run today to check clearances and see how everything did...it went pretty well, I need to cut my sliders a little more and I'm going to make some 1" axle relocation plates for the front to get it off the fender well more. I need to weld in the bumpstops and steering stabilizer and I should be good to go....Side note, Trail Gear must have sent me the wrong rear flip kit because the flip kit is way to narrow, It won't clear the spring perches on my rear axle, so I'm running the stockers for now....Guess I'll call them tomorrow and see what's up with that....some quick phone pictures...also the rear sits a little lower than the front, but I'm hoping that the springs will settle to even it out, we'll see
