89 pickup prerunner project

Hey guys, im new to this forum. Not sure if i need to introduce myself in any sort of intro board (im also a member of Dezertdimes.com), but i just picked up an 89 4cyl 5speed 22re pickup. I love the desert racing scene so thats the direction this build will be headed.
Below are some picks of how it looks right now.
-Fiberglass fenders and hood
-pulled bedsides
-cb radio
-total chaos uppers with 2" of lift with torsion bars
-aftermarket exhaust from header to muffler (not sure what brand)
-had it swapped from automatic 4speed to manual 5speed
-removed fan clutch housing and installed an electric fan
My plans arent set for what I'm gonna do to it, im looking into the uniball long travel set up total chaos makes for the front, and deavers for the rear with a Cage bumper to bumper.

By a repair manual, learn it, love it, respect it, and do it yourself. Labor is at least 50/hr. 10 hours of work would be.. $500, or a couple days in the garage, would save that money for a lot of better parts.
