Pulled the head off the 91 "parts truck" and one of the bearings is shot but the block is in great shape, clean with a small ring grove, plan to see what the block looks like in the 88 to see which one i will use for the rebuild busy at work so will be a slow one

As far as the 87 my front end needs much work so thinking i will take my chances on the front end in the 91 and replace the 87 front end with the 91 last Dec i put the 91 rear end in the 87 so it would make since so that when in 4wd the rear will be on the same page as the front

Got the head off of the 88, the previous owner had the motor rebuilt, long story short the mechanic who did it did not do a good job they have about 250 miles on it since it was rebuilt then it setup for 2 years, so when i took the heads off the head gasket was folded back in the back left hand corner if you're looking from the front so that explains the water in the oil and oil in water it has standard bore on the block with no ring grove look brand new

Now I'm sitting here with the head take it up to the local machine shop he calls the next morning tells me I need to replace all the velvess in the head and get a headset kit, so I did and the finished product is
