I went wheeling with my buddy in his Comanche today in Memphis,Tn in a place called the bottoms and we had a great day until be got to end of the trail and decided to go through the last mud hole and the truck sank like 3 ft into the mud. It took 2 hrs for help to get to us. http://s371.photobucket.com/albums/o...t=IMG_0550.mp4

I just welded my spare 3rd member, looks like crap and I started an awesome fire but I got it done. Im going to wait till next week maybe until i install it. I was a little bit more work than I figured but if it holds up, which it should, It'll be worth it. I hope. hahaha.

This has been a great weekend, I just picked up a 31x10.5x15 Cooper Discoverer tires with about 90% tread for cheap. They're mounted on ford wheels but I'll just sell those for like 10 bucks each.

Its a while since I've posted on this thread hahaha. I'll update a little. Back in late January I sold the Yota. And about a month and a half ago I got her back with a few problems. The timing has jumped and the guy I sold her to rigged up some kind of retarded exhaust that hung down so from the truck. I hate retards. The down pipe is broken where it connects to the flange that bolts to the manifold. My uncle is brazing it for me. Im supposed to pick it up tonight. I still need to get a muffler for. I just installed new plugs in it yesterday so now I just need to pick up my exhuast and get this timing fixed. If anyone has any timing "tips" Im all ears!!!

I totally forgot about the rings. That would require a leak down test right? Im not sure.

I cant see rings being that bad on 2 cylinders at the same time, anything is possible. I think you have something compromised that is letting the pressure off inbetween the 2 cyclinders since they are beside each other. I would really suspect the head. That would be the cheapest route. Hopefully it isnt in the block.

It'll be a couple of months before I will have extra funds to get this fixed but I'll take the head to a shop and have em check it out. And go ahead and the replace timing gear while im in there. Hopefully I can find a 84 or 85 truck with a good engine without a title for around 500 to 700.
