3VZE smooth idle but inconsistent idle speed.
Hello all,
I have a '92 4runner with the 3vze fully rebuilt with the following mods/replaced parts:
-LCE Engineering headers
-EGR Delete
-PAIR Delete
-P/S Idle-Up vacuum delete
-New spark plugs, distributor cap/rotor, spark plug wires
The issue that I am having is with the idle speed when the engine is fully warm. Some days it will idle at 1100-1200, some days at 1000, others at the set 800 rpm idle. My idle is always smooth and the truck appears to run well. Timing is set at 12*, TPS seems to be working fine from the resistances that I measured, but I have not replaced it.
