I got an 89 4x4 pickup with 5 speed and header I bought does not fit it is a pacesetter 70-1188 and comparability charts don't specify 4x4 but other headers for 4x4 say fit 90 and up is there not a 89 4x4 header what y'll running or have anyone else run into this problem

My expereince with pacesetter was exactly the same. Went Doug Thorley, no problems.

Check out remflex gaskets will be the last one you buy for a header install.

Just found a small exhaust leak and was just looking at the pacesetter..this is a useful thread!
