Looks awesome already! I hope everything goes well for you brother. I'll be watching this. Why not look at picking up a rebuilt? Hit up engnbldr.com they might have a suggestion or do it for you. Seems like you could find a reputable place to get you what you want for cheaper then LCE. Have your engine guy install it, and avoid the stealership like the plague. Cheers!

Just dropped the tuck off today to get the SAS done, the guy said that it should be done by the end of this week. With 5.29s and lockers. The second I get the truck back I am going to call the order in for the driveshafts.

Well that's good news. From the pictures I thought they were already mounted and you were going to run them like that. All I could think was that you'd be rubbing like a Basset hound during the "warm days" of her cycle.

Those tires are massive!!!!

89silverpu, Its really hard to get the back one right, because I was rear ended about 2 years ago and it moved the frame just enough to mess up the mounting holes

86toyrunna: I will be talking to marlin and see what he thinks I should do, I think I am going to go with high angle driveline though.

1980 4X4: I am in beaumont, tx

chapman88sr5: what, Colton? is yours spelled the same way?

NorCrawler: they arent real beadlocks they are the rock crusher mock beadlocks, I cant afford real ones, and they arent street legal! One day though!!

Junkers 88: my friends dad thought the same thing!! LOL

I havent actually put them on the truck yet, but it looks like they arent going to be rubbing too much. Well nothing a BFH wont fix!!!

Oh and today I got my longs in....so I am going to bring them to the shop and take some pics while I am there!

Some new pics just drove to the shop and saw this!!!!

And I got this last night:

Ramsey Patriot 9500 with synthetic winch line, and wireless controller

I talked to the guy that is doing the swap and we hit our first road block. The tie rod for the steering threads on the left side are messed up, the end will only thread in about an inch, so I called marlin and they are sending me a new one for free, i just have to send them my old one once I get this one.

Did they rebuild the axle? Why did they leave the old brackets on the housing?

No they havent rebuilt it yet, they just hung it there so they could move the truck around in the shop!

89silverpu: lol, yeah but I bet no one else has the fairy stripe either (plus they are going to get covered by bedliner one day) !! AND, you cant see it when the truck is covered in mud!! hahaha, last time I saw a pic of your truck it looked like the paint was faded on the bed just like mine, have you had it painted yet

Great project! It really is starting to look great.

PS- Where do you work, and are they accepting applications? You seem to have mucho disposable income!
