My buddy cut out cardboard for his windows and you just put them in the window before you go to sleep. I guess painting would work but kinda a permanent thing lol.
So I'm thinking about getting some larger tires. Size is 31x10.50x15. I was reading some forums saying you can run these with out a lift or cutting fenders. I have a bone stock runner with ifs. Let me know if I'm wrong I dont want to buy something and have to start cutting ˟˟˟˟.

You will be fine running 31x10.50x15 tires with no lift, I've been running mine for a year with no rubbing. I did do the "no cut" Zuk mod on the rear so it would sit level, but that was more for looks and to keep the clapped out rear leaf springs from bottoming out on bumps, not so much for tire clearance.

Is the zuk mod a good route? Mine has some sag and they look pretty easy to install. Might be a good choice because I know what your are saying about those leaf springs haha

I think it's a good inexpensive way to go, especially since no one makes a stock replacement height rear leafspring, you either have to go with a add-a-leaf or Old Man Emu 2" lift springs but then you have to get a ball joint spacer or crank the front torsion bars up to get the front to set level. I ran the Zuk mod for quite a few years on my 86' 4runner without any problems before getting my All Pro Offroad rear suspension. On my current 87' 4 runner it's a little bouncy when I hit big bumps and pot holes on my driveway, but that's because my rear shocks need replaced. Before I did the Zuk mod the suspension would completely bottom out on the bumps stops on the same bumps.
If you check Zuk's site and scroll down to the bottom he has a section on what coils to use to obtain the amount of lift that you want and where to buy them. It has links to other members install threads as well. You can also use jeep TJ front coils springs and cut them down to fit, thats what I used. That is the exact CB/antenna I have! Range is crap but I just use it to talk with others trucks out on the trails and to talk over the PA horn under the hood.
My antenna is on a bracket for the drivers fender. You need to get a SWR gauge and a flat open field to tune in your antenna properly. Youtube it if you don't know how.

The people at 4wheel parts were saying that it comes pre tuned. I'll have to look into it. I want to get a pa and mount it under my hood. Would you mind snapping a picture and telling me the brand of it that would be sick.
Nice looking runner you have. On the tire carrier I have soaked them in PB Blaster and just trying to keep moving it a little at a time until it frees up. This way can take up to a week or two at a time and is a slow process. You will eventually get it to operate.
If you can get access to the 3 or 4 bolts that connect the tire carrier to the frame, you can remove the tire carrier. Google "Electrolisis Tank" and it will destroy the rust and you will have the tire carrier working in just a day or two. It is a system of using a battery charger, some baking soda to remove rust. Great for other things as well.
Getting to the bolts that hold the carrier might be a little difficult and may need to loosen the body bolts to get access to the tire carrier.
