Om man, I've been neglectful here, block came back, shortblock is reassembled.




Also picked up a 7.5mm pump for some power,

 

Pic dump, have the longblock complete, did some test fits, using a 3.4 heavy flywheel from LC Engineering, redrilled to fit the Merc crank.

Also scored an Elocker 4.30 geared third for 123 bucks at the Upull.

So progress is going onward.

we need an update of all the goings on since you got it started. Ive been following you on the FB page, but you really should post it here!

 

It's hard to keep up, it's mostly done honestly.

7.5mm pump and HE221 turbo let's it run with traffic easily on the freeway, I've even pulled my 1600lb trailer down the freeway with it.

It's averaging 27 mpg, starts easily, kinda loud with injector nailing, needs new nozzles but not going to get them before spring.

Haven't posted an update in awhile.

Really isn't one, it runs fine, drives fine, have a lot of little things I'd like to do still, but it mostly just sits outside.

I'd like to adjust the wastegate, I don't see as much boost as I should, I'd like to pull the dash and build a sheetmetal one for it, finish the grille swap, add sliders, get a winch... Just details really, the"build" is kinda done.

 

Dash is in progress, the speaker locations don't work at all, radio and glove box slots interfere with the crash bar, have to noodle that for awhile.





Started on panels for the rear cargo area also, did get the turbo re-clocked and wastegate adjusted to my liking.

 

Dash mostly done, added an accessory switched 12v fuse panel for fun things.

Added Softopper.

Deleted doors.
