well lets take a moment of silence for the yota, its not mine anymore...it blew another headgasket on the way home on the guy who i traded to. well i traded for a 1990 4runner, 22re 5spd, im really happy with the trade, will start a build thread and get pics when i get time.

ok, just for you chef! my buddy bought it tonight, i got first dibs when he sells, its in real sad shape someone put their fist through the windsheils, dented, scratched, leaking oil badly, bad paint touchup, as you see they changed front grill, markerlights, and turn signals, put a sloppy shifter outta a 1st gen, ripped my stereo out, and who knows what else, really makes me sad seeing it in this shape, me and my buddy are gonna bring her back, repaint it the same color, fix all the problems, and hopefully he will have a nice dd, i got my 81, but id probly trade in a heartbeat for this truck, didnt know how much this truck meaned to me till it wasnt in my possession anymore

Wow...it looks so different! Why would he put a stock bumper back on it?! Did your friend say if it still has head gasket problems?

 

no headgasket problems, motor is about the only solid thing on this, they swapped out the shifter for a really sloppy one outta a 1st gen, they changed the bumper because he put my old one on his geo tracker...

 

ok so here are some pics, we are bringing it back, wheeling it often haha, had it at the mud bogs yesterday and we think it popped a hg, so gotta fix that, but other than that its been runnin good, had a hell of a oil leak, and we figured out the distributor was loose, tightened it and no leaks now!
