that is the weirdest looking Yota I've ever seen!
lol.... JK, but YES, you have schizophrenic level Toyotaticulitus.. But it's beginning to morph into "FordYotaTiculitus",..... not sure there's meds for that... Just ask ED! lol.

well i get my crank back tomorrow, so for now ill post about the ford, took it out wheelin and got stuck pretty bad, broke a chain, and shredded my buddys tire when he tried to pull me out, it took a 79 ford 4wd and a 4wd dodge cummins pullin at the same time to get me out, hitch was dug in the dirt and front axle was buried

got it done today, ran great for about 5 minutes then blew #3 spark plug out the head with the helicoil, tried jb welding teh helicoil in, will find out tomorrow if it holds, hate to admit it but i dont know how much more of this i can take, feel like im just chasing my tail with this pickup

I would go with loctite-red on that heli.... Not sure JB can take that much heat....My patch on a formerly leaky, HOT AS HELL coolant pipe holds..... IT'S LIKE A ROCK! lol.. BUT, ........ maybe the heads a lil hotter than that coolant elbow on the intake is? Maybe Loctite-red it in and THEN try the spark plug after it's LONG dried. Shouldn't transfer, right? So you'd still be able to get the plug out afterward.... BUT; I would think it would hold more securely than JB weld in small amounts... No? I'm just askin... maybe it's not a great idea.... just a thought, hahaha.

Oh holy good Lordie, WOW! Yeah.... How'd the JB Kwik Weld work out? (or regular?).....
Don't let this get to ya, man.... You've done so much work.... built her from the ground up in large part... You're just turning that corner where all kinds of odd things seem to avalanche on ya, ya know? The plug thread grenading? ... that's NOT uncommon.... Not super common either, but it happens, not just on these, either. I'm on my 2nd exhaust stud heli... and a sert for the head as well.... Crap just happens. But once you hit that 'sweet spot' with this thing.... where all of it's pretty covered, and you're just maintaining it/repairing body stuff, whatever? PRICELESS! lol. And honestly? You'll spend a good chunk on that Ford, and then the GAS...and parts are VERY scarce.... Personally, I would just go all out on the 'free fixes' with my toyota, get her purring good, then slowly work on the Ford. YOU'LL GET IT, BUD, you're a persistent bugger like many of us! hahaha.
