My plug won't slide over it. It's not notched out like the ones I have seen online. It's solid all the way around it.

Nice looking runner you have there. Looks really clean. Im not a fan of the bedlined fenders either.

As far as the plug goes. You should be able to notch it out to fit over the sensor. I had to do the same thing on another 22re that one of my students had.

Out with the old and cracked and in with the new silicone. Also added a fresh factory 22 RE sticker. Engine bay is getting better. Loving my First Gen.

Wanted to show the rest of the families Toyotas. My wife's 94 FZJ80 and my 8 year old sons 1980 FJ40 with 46k original miles. A true KY barn find. Our father and son project waiting in the wings.

SR5 gauge swap completed and finally back on the road. Oil pressure sending unit broke off and getting the rest out of the block was an absolute nightmare. Welded multiple nuts to it and several ez out attempts. Ending up drilling it out and re tapping it. Now time for an OME lift.

Got the new grill installed and most of the vacuum lines replaced with a silicone kit. Looks tons better and runs better. Now to get rid of this CEL. Checked it for codes and says none present. Sometimes it last 30 seconds before it comes on and occasionally doesn't come on until around 45-50mph. Will keep digging for info. Replacement dash on the way. 1st Gen 4Runners are addictive!

Nice job on the SR5 cluster swap. Its definitely nice to have other gauges to monitor your engine.
I hate when stuff breaks off and you have to drill for what seems like days to get it out.

Makes a huge difference swapping out those old crusty vacuum lines.

What is the code? Were you able to retrieve it? You probably already know, but if you jumper the Te1 and E1 plug on the drivers side harness under the hood, it will flash the codes on the dash with the KOEO.

There are two yellow male plugs on the drivers fender well under the hood. The Diagnostic one is the smaller of the two.

Like the runner. I can sense your entusiasm for yotas. Thats a good thing!

Now...about this gas can inside the runner....thats a terrible idea...toting fuel inside the vehicle is really a bad idea.

I agree 100%. It had been setting around forever in the garage and I mounted it there to get it off the floor. It's never had fuel in it. Will be used on the M416 as soon as it hits the road.

By chance does anyone know of a CanBack soft top for sale or any other brand? Have seen the SoftTopper brand and the Killer Toy Tops any recommendations?

My 1st choice would be a can back,2nd would be the KTT, As far as the ome stuff goes,sometimes its hard to find.Ask Gizler about that.

I like the killer you tops. I think it has the best look and options for the price.
The OME stuff is on major back order. I placed an order a few months ago and they told me that they had no idea when stuff was going to show up stateside. Said could be 6 months or longer.

I wonder why the OME is on such a long back order? What would be your second choice for a mild lift? Have had the hard top off for a few days now and it's awesome. A guy at the gas station asked me why I cut the back of my cab off my truck! I still don't think he believed me it was made that way. I told him car makers do some crazy stuff as he drove away in his Pontiac Aztec...
