I probably should have done a bit more searching before I put the effort into pulling that tilt column. A 2WD column will not fit a 4WD truck. With that said, I cannot post classified posts yet, but the 2WD column is for sale for $40 plus shipping costs. Located in zip 94952 SF Bay Area. Thanks.

Took the summer off to work on a few projects around the house, including a new TV console. The wood is all 100+ years old reclaimed Redwood from an old barn. Yes I know, I need a bigger TV. That's a 60" but looks tiny now. Anyways, been back in the truck for the last few nights. Putting the interior back together and wiring up the new seats.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun. Matching end tables are next, just need to mill some more of the barnwood down.

The cabinet looks great!

I have been thinking about making one for my old (vintage) stereo equipment.

Interior and Mechanical Update

Been putting a little bit of time in on the truck and actually driving it around town with a moving permit. Failed smog due to visual inspection, emissions and idle were spot on, but the pre-EO catalytic converter that was still legal in 2004 (last year smogged) failed visually. New cat and o2 sensor just came in, so that goes on this week. Everything is bolt on, so I'll take out the cat as soon I pass. The new stock muffler sounds pretty good without the cat; back pressure and idle seems fine as well. After I get it smogged and regularly on the streets, power steering is next. I have all the parts ready to go, just need to do it. That's it for now, should have more regular updates moving forward.

New Master cylinder
New cap and rotor
New carburetor
New plugs and wires
New stock exhaust
30 9.5 15R AT Tires
Full AC delete
Installed and wired motorized seats
Dash reinstalled
New 4" speakers (stock position)
New Head Unit
Pulled door panels (had some help in prep of custom ABS or wood panels)

New phone - will download and add more pics.

I have the same combo corner lights, I have not yet hooked up the turn signal though. I still have the turn signals in my bumper. Did those corner lamps come with bulb sockets for the turn signals? I bought mine on eBay, they shipped from Thailand and of course came with no bulb sockets.

Those headlights are pretty neat, I've never seen that turn signal feature integrated into the headlight. What happens at night with the headlights on, can you even see the turn signal over the glare of the headlight beam?

My corner lights did not come with the bulbs or sockets, but I grabbed a set of 194/168 sockets at Autozone. As for the DRL/blinker in the headlight, the DRL most certainly is lost in the glare at night, but the amber blinker is still fairly visible. On the topic of glare, these have a pretty nice cutoff for low beams and the highs are not as focused as a projector, but less scattered than an HID in a halogen reflector bowl. I'll get the obligatory pics once I get it out on the road. Overall, I have plenty of light output (not excessive) for hi, low, and turn signals.
