honestly, lifting a tranny by itself isn't that bad. i could easily rock and maneuver mine with t-case and tranny together, filled with oil. it's just not something i would lift by myself. my $0.02

Dude, seriously...........BEAUTIFUL! Nice work, and that undercarriage is EQUALLY beautiful to that motor! hahaha... I know, most average shmo's wouldn't agree.. but I TOTALLY admire your work under there, man! GREAT JOB!

Hey SoCal...NOT EVEN trying to be nit picking, lol... But the wiring housing fittings go on top of the billet, not underneath. You wanna keep them as far away from that header as possible, regardless of how high temp tough they are, etc., ya know? Like this>>>

Unless that one is supposed to be like you have it... Just making sure, ya know?

Ahhhh, ok, sorry man... I thought it was better to have them higher, only reason I was pointing it out... But they're even closer with the stock set up, I think, so nevermind, hahaha.
Looks great, nice work, SoCal!

Just going to start off by saying that is one amazing rig, I have never seen an 85 with that clean of a undercarriage! I am just wondering will the 4" TG lift be sufficient for your 37s? Or did you plan on adding a body lift or modifications to the fenders? I am simply asking because I have the exact same lift and looking into some 37s as well!

Thanks for the compliments! I try...thats all.
im sure they will fit just fine, the 4" will be plenty for 37's. Maybe some minor trimming here and there. Rock em

Great Job
Very nice build. I just picked up a 1984 SR5 not near as clean as yours it came from out of state so it has a little rust. But it will be a great build. I need to start my own build up page. I have followed your build you have given me some great ideas. Thanks
