IJCapp 1985 X-Cab

Picked this truck up 6 years ago with the intention of a build up. I haven't had the time and have lost most of my interest as I have picked up other hobbies. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. The truck has spent most of it's life in NV until I purchased it and brought it to NM and now far west TX. The 22-RE is strong. So far I have put a timing chain and water pump (since I was in there) in it. I re-did the dash which has the altimeter, inclinometer, tilt meter gauge cluster. I found that Toyota hasn't changed the mounting points for the seats and was able to find a set of buckets from a '95 4-runner at the local junk yard. Other than those modifications the truck is all stock. I have been slow on making any upgrades and really don't know what direction to take it in.

Nice clean looking truck! I like how the dash/inclinometer turned out, looks really good. I'd find a replacement rear bumper, and DD that thing the way it is!

Thanks! Truck still has the factory springs on it which after 30yrs the front basically has negative arch. The ride is rough. Any suggestions on replacements for the front and rear?

If your looking for a small lift, Old Man Emu has a 2 " lift kit, I hear they are of good quality and ride nice.

Thanks for the info. I've always thought a 2" lift would be perfect

Great looking truck. Like mentioned, drive it for a while and then you may find out what upgrades you want to do with it. Welcome to Yotatech.
